Some pottery lovers may remember me from the years I ran The Lincoln Art Pottery Gallery from 1999-2002. The experience of running the gallery, and doing my own work, really pushed me to create my own style of functional, collectible pottery.
I learned early on that the quality and dependability of the materials is fundamental.
I experimented with many clay bodies, building and glazing techniques. Each piece I make is a distinct individual with the intent to be used and loved on a daily basis. My pottery is dishwasher safe but not recommended for the microwave as it will shorten the pieces lifespan.
The gallery was a valuable laboratory for experimenting and developing my most popular designs. It provided the structure and discipline to get my own studio up and running. I now work exclusively from home making my art and teaching classes. My works can be purchased through my on line shop or please view my list of local retailers. Shoppers are welcome to visit my studio upon appointment. Please check out my class schedule. I really enjoy sharing my art with both children and adults through my classes.
Check my events calendar for art shows, galleries, etc. I like to keep my latest pottery up on my etsy shop, which you can link right to from my web site.
My number one concern is that you love the pottery you purchase from me. If you are not 100% satisfied I will do everything I can to make you feel you get what you deserve. I think clear communication and customer service are a valuable part of purchasing directly from an artist.
